Italian cuisine to be celebrated in Vancouver

Next month, the Italian Cultural Centre will be holding its annual Italian Food Festival and Mercato in Vancouver.

The Italian Cultural Centre, which is often referred to as ll Centro, originally began in 1977 as a venue for Italian heritage events in the area. Since 13 Italian Associates founded the centre, it has been expanded to include a wide range of banqueting and catering facilities, as well as hosting classes for students who wish to learn Italian and take part in activities and celebrations such as the yearly Italian Food Festival and Mercato.

The Italian Food Festival and Mercato will be taking place outside in the parking lot of the Italian Cultural Centre for five hours of shopping, socialization and dining on authentic Italian cuisine. Attendees of this outdoor Vancouver festival will be able to try a wide variety of Italian dishes and browse vendor booths offering goods including food and beverages for purchase. When hosting booths at outdoor events, vendors often invest in banner printing to showcase goods with visually captivating printed decorations.

Anyone who wants to attend the festival can do so at no cost. All guests must register online prior to the start of the event to reserve their places.

The Italian Food Festival and Mercato will be taking place from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 4.
