ICS plans Vancouver conference

As a port city, shipping is a vital part of Vancouver’s economy, and individuals and businesses in the sector may benefit from taking a seat for an upcoming industry conference.

The symposium that is on the way for the city will have a focus on dry bulk and other commodities, and it is being presented by the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS). A variety of industry experts will be sharing their knowledge with the delegates, and lots of time for face-to-face networking and exchanging ideas has been incorporated into its agenda.

During the Dry Bulk and Commodities Conference, which has been scheduled for mid-November, attendees will be offered an opportunity to discover some of the newest industry trends, and ICS members and students may access their tickets at a reduced price. Non-members are also welcome, and while the function may have a business focus, it will also be bringing its Pub Night back, so that everyone can mix and mingle in a casual and fun environment.

Conferences often attract a lot of industry attention, and this one is no different. To thank the various sponsors for their financial and other support, the planners have added the Logo Design of each to its website listing.

This symposium is scheduled for November 17th. The Vancouver Convention Centre has been chosen to serve as the venue for the day.
