Virtual event to explore Richmonds hidden side

The annual Doors Open Richmond program provides the public with a sneak peek into local buildings they might otherwise not get to see, and this year, it will take place online.

Due to the pandemic, the organizers of this yearly event have made it a virtual function, and over 30 sites will be included. There will be tours of sites such as municipal buildings, and local businesses, restaurants and even a media outlet will be participating as well.

This free activity is intended to raise civic awareness, and the Richmond Museum Society and the City of Richmond have joined forces to host the function. The videos and other materials that have been prepared will be new for this year, and several additional locations will be included. All materials will be made available on the museum’s website as well as social media channels, and everyone who calls the city home is encouraged to check it out for themselves.

Promoting an annual function like this to the public can be made a lot easier thanks to support from a printing services company. Posting promotional printed materials throughout a community will make sure everyone knows how and when they can take part.

The 2021 instalment of Doors Open Richmond will be giving a sneak peek into a variety of the city’s hidden spaces from June 5th to June 12th. All residents are encouraged to enjoy the experience.
