Richmond welcomes return of Halloween Hoot

A special Richmond celebration will have lots of fall fun on deck when it welcomes families for six hours of activities.

Richmond Nature Park’s Pond Trail will be transformed into the Halloween Hoot, and there will be lots of photo ops to be had. As the admission donations will help fund education programs run by the Richmond Nature Park Society, everyone who drops by is asked to be as generous as they can.

The function will see families stroll along the trail, and there will be over 30 inflatables as well as 10 art installations with a nature theme. There will be an assortment of pumpkins grown on local farms available for purchase, and these can be used for decor or to make pies and other desserts. The festivities will go ahead rain or shine, and the venue is accessible to those who require a mobility device.

The organizers of the event have issued a call to local youth who are interested in volunteering. Not-for-profit volunteer coordinators may require everything from Letterheads to application Forms, safety waivers, parental permission forms for minors and other documents, all of which can be prepared by Stationery printers.

Richmond Nature Park will have its Halloween Hoot trail set up from October 19 until October 27. The volunteer day is scheduled for November 2, and more details about both can be found on the City of Richmond website.
