Upcoming seminar discusses where print fits in today's world

The British Columbia Printing and Imaging Association (BCPIA) is hosting a seminar by Daniel Dejan this May. It will consist of a talk titled ‘Print in the New Media Mix’ and a workshop on ‘Selling in an Integrated Market’.

The day's agenda will include the seminar, a networking break, the workshop, and then a luncheon and roundtable discussion with the speaker. The seminar is expected to go into details on where Print companies and printed materials fit in today's world, the popularity of Print, and how to use the latest technology to increase business and sales. There will be discussion about using social networking sites like LinkedIn and Facebook, QR Codes, and even e-readers. Guests will no doubt be able to ask the speaker questions.

While the Richmond seminar is mainly aimed at sales reps for printing companies, it will be of use to anyone who currently makes their living in the industry.

The seminar will take place at the River Rock Casino Resort on May 8th, beginning at 8:30am. Tickets for the lunch only are $39 for BCPIA members and $69 for non-members. The seminar only costs $59 for members and $89 for those who are not, and for both events tickets are $69 and $99.
