Upcoming lecture to discuss maximizing Richmond marketplace

A lecture has been planned for Richmond that will provide those who take part with knowledge they can use to make the most of their existing customer base, and even expand it.

Dr. Ronnie Gao, who is a business professor at Trinity Western University with an expertise in the area of ethnic market segmentation, will be presenting the findings of his research into the field of marketing to those in various ethnic, gender, age and special interest groups.

Further to this, Dr. Gao will be discussing how marketing that targets a specific group can affect sales to mainstream consumers. He will also elaborate on his research with relation to how using real data and hard numbers can help a business create advertising materials that promote itself effectively in a community that is as ethnically diverse as Richmond.

The lecture is one of a set of talks known as ‘The Leaders’ Series’, and is being offered free of charge to anyone who may be interested in participating. It will be held on January 24, 2017 at TWU Richmond, located at 305-5900 Minoru Blvd. A company that provides binding services will be able to produce bound Copies of his study results, analysis, and any other information that may be of use to those who attend.

All those who are interested in participating are asked to register through the Eventbrite listing.
