An event is set to take place at the Gulf of Georgia Cannery building later this spring that will give Richmond wine lovers that chance to experience vintage products from all over the world.
The Sixth Annual Steveston Wine Fest is expected to draw a large crowd of both connoisseurs and those who just enjoy a good glass of wine. At least 80 boutique wines will be poured, and this will be accompanied by a selection of small dishes.
According to the event’s organizers, they have gone the extra mile this year and sourced hard to find wines both locally and further afield. The goal is to create a selection that will offer unusual choices, and the organizers are anticipating that the event will be a sell-out. The proceeds raised at the festival will be donated to a variety of area charities including the Richmond Christmas Fund.
