Finding summer camps for Richmond kids is now a lot easier thanks to an offering from a local company.
Kidtropolis has made arrangements to host a day camp series for nine weeks this summer, and parents can register their child for as many weeks as they wish. The organizers have noted that for the safety of campers and staff alike, COVID prevention measures will be strictly followed, and with over 18,000 square feet of space, social distancing will be no problem.
Each day will run from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm, and the camps are suitable for kids from ages 6 to 10. The camps will open with a set of welcome activities, and once everyone has arrived, the games and other fun will begin. The campers will perform experiments and engage in a variety of hands-on learning, and after care will be available for any families that need it.
Many camp organizers have had to adjust their policies and procedures over the past year and frequently ask families to sign healthy and safety waivers. These sorts of documents can be prepared by local Stationery printers.
The first of the Kidtropolis day camps will start on July 5th. It will be held at 5940 No. 2 Road in Richmond, and its website includes information for those interested.
