International Move for Health Week is taking place during the second week of May, and Richmond will be holding several events to celebrate the event.
The city will be hosting inexpensive and free events during the week to encourage citizens to get moving and to become healthier. There are two challenges taking place that week; one for Community/Workplace and another for School. Each team will make out a chart that will be displayed during the Move for Health Festival at the end of the week.
Events are set to take place at community centers, sports arenas, and health facilities. The closing festival is expected to feature live entertainment, a chance to meet the mayor, and community information booths. Mascot Active Jack will also make an appearance, and visitors can take part in ‘Discover your Sport’, hosted by the Richmond Sports Council.
No doubt many of the community organizations that are participating will want to provide printed material about their programs and services to the public. Richmond printing companies are frequently asked to provide items such as Brochures or Booklets for that purpose.
Move for Health Week is being held this week from May 5th to 10th. The festival is set to take place on the last day at Minoru Park from 11:00am - 3:00pm. Call 604-276-4000 for more information.Get a Free Quote for Brochures Get a Free Quote for Booklets
