Richmond is home to some of British Columbia’s top crafting talent, and this will be on full display for the shoppers at an upcoming holiday market.
The Steveston Community Centre will soon be transformed into a winter-themed shopping party, and with some luck, those who come out may even be able to find the right gift for every person on their list. It will be open for six hours, and while no admission fees are being charged, a donation at the door will be very appreciated.
With as many as 125 vendors on hand, the market will boast a wide variety of handmade items and other goods, as well as gourmet foods. A raffle draw is in the works, and the venue is accessible to those who require a wheelchair or other assistive device. Once they have had their fill, the shoppers are encouraged to check out the community's shops and service providers.
A holiday makers’ market or other sale often attracts many visitors. A poster printing company will be happy to prepare signage that helps spread the word and build the buzz in a community about such events.
The Steveston Christmas Craft Fair will be helping to put everyone in the holiday mood on November 25th. Members of the public can begin arriving at 10:00 am. It will be held at the Steveston Community Centre – Net Shed, located at 4111 Moncton Street in Richmond.
