Richmond to celebrate Halloween with fun-filled events

The city of Richmond will be hosting two special events to mark Halloween this year, with the area’s residents gearing up for plenty of spooky activities.

The first party, the Richmond Chinese Community Society’s (RCCS) 24th annual Halloween Dinner and Dance, is set to take place just before the day itself. It is a fundraiser for the RCCS Scholarship Fund and guests will be able to enjoy a cocktail reception, live entertainment, and dinner.

Another event, which will take place on the day of Halloween, is the City of Richmond Halloween Fireworks Festival. It will feature fire dancers, a live DJ, arts and crafts vendors, and a magic show. The evening will be finished off with a 15-minute fireworks display. It is a safe and family-friendly way to celebrate the holiday.

Richmond printing companies often help to advertise festivals and celebrations, and the organizers in Richmond may look to use their services in the build-up to Halloween itself. No doubt Posters and Flyers would come in handy to boost awareness.

The RCCS Halloween Dinner and Dance will take place at the Radisson President Hotel and Suites on October 26, beginning at 6:00pm. Tickets are $88 for adults and $55 for children under 12; tables of 10 are available for $880. To find out more about the event, call 604-270-7222.

The Halloween Fireworks Festival is being held on October 31 at Minoru Park. The night starts at 6:30pm and is set to come to an end around 8:30pm. For more information, contact the City of Richmond at 604-276-4000.
