The 11th annual Heart and Soul Dinner and Dance fundraiser is taking place this October in the city of Richmond. Proceeds from the event go towards the Heart of Richmond AIDS Society.
The dinner and dance is open to people of all ages. It will be hosted by Fred Lee of CBC Radio and Sophie Lui from Global BC. There will be a buffet dinner, live and silent auctions, DJ Hot Wax, door prizes, a raffle, and live entertainment. Raffle tickets are $10 for one or $30 for four, and the prize is a trip for two to anywhere WestJet flies.
While some of those in attendance may have been affected by the disease, others will just want to help a worthwhile community charity. Local businesses will also be donating the items up for bid in the auctions. Organizers of Heart and Soul have probably been working with Richmond printing companies to prepare, and this could include the printing of tickets, Invitations and Flyers.
The Heart of Richmond AIDS Society is a non-profit organization that assists people living with HIV/AIDS by providing such services as gym memberships, medical supplies, and craft courses.
