Richmond’s firefighters are at the ready 365 days a year, and a call has been put out to the community seeking support for an upcoming fundraiser held in their honour.
The first annual Richmond Firefighters Charity Golf tournament will help to welcome the summer golf season, and the venue for the tourney will be the Tsawwassen Springs Golf Course. The proceeds will benefit the community in variety of ways, and there will be enough spots in the activity to accommodate 144 players. A dinner and auction will also take place, and tickets for these will be available for purchase.
To help make the function a success, the organizers have organized a sponsor program. These start at the Hole Sponsor level and go all the way up to Presenting Sponsor. Depending on which option is chosen, tickets may be included in the sponsor package, and they will all put the supporter’s Logo Design in the spotlight. Individual tickets for the full day are $300.00, while those for the dinner and auction only are $100.00.
In addition to sponsors, the organizers of the day are also interested in hearing from any local companies that would like to donate some gifts in kind. These will be used as prizes and auction items, and all assistance will be appreciated.
