Hayrides are a winter tradition for many, and Richmond’s Steveston Village will be offering people in the local area a chance to hop aboard.
Those who come to enjoy the holiday hayride will be able to have fun with friends both old and new as they travel along, bundled up and relaxing as the hay wagon rolls along. The route will take them past some of the city’s homes and other properties that have been decorated for the holiday season.
To add to the festivities, and to help the riders get to know one another, there will be a singalong carols and other favourites. The trips will set out every 30 minutes, and young and old alike are all welcome to participate in this family-friendly seasonal activity. Due to the nature of the activity, it may not be accessible for those who have mobility challenges.
The cost person for the hayride has been set by the organizers at $7 each. A printer in the local area will be able to utilize comb binding to craft song Books for this type of event, and can use the lamination process to make sure they are protected out in the elements.
The rides, which will take the passengers through Steveson Village, will be held on December 7 and 8, and they will set out from the Steveson Community Centre. The centre is currently accepting registration from anyone who would like to be included in a hayride, and more information about the event can be found on its website.
