Networking and golf often go hand in hand, and the Credit Institute of Canada’s (CIC) BC chapter is hosting an upcoming tournament that will offer this pairing.
The professional association of those with a career in the credit industry will be teeing off at Richmond’s Mylora Sidaway Golf Club. Those who are members of CIC will receive professional development points, and the planners have offered two different kinds of ticket options to the potential attendees.
The registrants for the day will kick off their golfing with a shotgun start, and it will follow a Texas Scramble format. A putting contest will give the golfers a chance to show off their skills, and an even-split draw, raffle draw and Toonie Toss are all on the agenda. Dinner will be served at the end of the afternoon, and anyone who would like to reserve their cart or rent clubs is asked to contact the organizers by phone.
Golf fundraisers and networking events like this tend to be quite popular. As they often include a lot of networking opportunities, it may be a good idea for the participants to have a supply of Business Cards at the ready so they can easily share their contact information.
