Richmond golf outing to welcome turf grass industry

A Richmond golf course will soon be playing host to an event for the turf grass industry, and it will combine learning with a day filled with fun.

The Western Canada Turfgrass Association will be presenting a day of learning at Mayfair Lakes Golf and Country Club. The morning will include a presentation and information sessions on an assortment of topics, such as becoming an ISA Certified Arborist, and there will also be a series of short remarks from the function’s sponsors.

The morning’s activities will wrap up with brunch, and after this, it will be time to head out to the course for an afternoon of golf. A shotgun tournament that follows a scramble format will take place, and the day will draw to a close with a banquet and awards presentation. The use of a cart is included in the event’s registration fee.
