Richmond Fire Rescue serves the community and surrounding area all year long, and to mark the arrival of the holiday season, it will be welcoming one and all for a special event.
The team of first responders will be partnering with the Hamilton Community Centre to add an extra touch of sparkle to the season. It will see a person chosen from the crowd throw the switch on the light display at Hamilton Fire Hall.
The plans for the afternoon include an assortment of family friendly activities, and the attendees will be able to learn more about Richmond Fire Rescue and what it does. Local entertainers will be on hand to keep the energy levels high, and everyone will have the opportunity to enjoy some light refreshments.
The online listing for this seasonal celebration has explained that the fire squad may also be booked for other local events. Groups like this that offer presentations to the public will be able to obtain the printed materials they need to do so from a local brochure printing company.
The Richmond Fire Squad will be hosting the Lighting of the Hamilton Fire Hall event on December 5th. The festivities have a scheduled start time of 3:00 pm. The whole community is encouraged to stop by and be part of the fun.
