The 12th annual 911 Awards dinner and ceremony is taking place this April in Richmond. The event is hosted by the Richmond Chamber of Commerce.
There are various categories of awards that will be given out to acknowledge the dedication of ambulance crews and paramedics, police officers, and members of the Canadian Coast Guard.
There will also be awards that recognise business initiatives for community safety, as well as RCMP career achievements and those who work in the fire and rescue arm of the emergency services.
In past years, the keynote speaker for the awards dinner has included the Premier of British Columbia.
In addition to paying tribute to these heroes and thanking them for their service, this will also be a great networking opportunity for local business leaders. There will be plenty of chances to discuss business and to exchange cards. The 911 Awards are taking place at the River Rock Casino Resort on April 30th, from 5:00pm - 9:45pm. Tickets are $118 or $1,180 for a table of 10. Sponsorships are also available from $500 to $7,500.
