Richmond conference to highlight mental health

First responders take on a career that may be hard on their mental health, and a conference that will be on offer in Richmond will address this issue from a variety of angles.

The BC First Responders’ Mental Health Conference will help to start the new year off for those who work in law enforcement or are an EMT or firefighter. As it will be hosted at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel, it will offer easy access to the delegates, and it will be a two-day event.

The symposium will explore the impact a career as a first responder can have on mental health, and a variety of supports will be discussed. It will welcome those who work in urban and rural settings, and the first day will have a theme of Leadership/Family, while the second will address Retirees/Treatment. There is enough room for up to 399 attendees, and a wait list is also available.

One of the jobs conference organizers often take on is choosing promotional Pens and other items to use as swag. A local printing services company will offer lots of choices for this.

The 2023 BC First Responders’ Mental Health Conference will be held on January 26th and 27th. Its schedule, presenter list, sponsorship information and other details can be found on its official website.
