Richmond comes alive with return of night market

It is time again for the largest night market in North America to set up its stalls and brighten up the sky with neon and string lights.

Every weekend, the 2023 Richmond Night Market, located near the corner of No. 3 Road and River Road, will be awash with merriment, music and merchandise to captivate the whole family.

This year's theme is 'Summer Wonderland', with a 60-foot castle, enormous chairs, and a Wonderland-themed forest to entertain the younger visitors, while live performances on the Main Stage with musicians, dancers, martial arts teams and more will wow all ages.

Aside from the entertainment, there will be over 100 retail stalls, selling everything from toys, accessories and clothing, to gadgets, art and crafts in the style of traditional Asian street markets.

While browsing the vendor stalls, shoppers will be lured by the savoury aromas of culinary delights prepared fresh by the more than 110 food booths for this year's International Food Adventure 2023. Beginning on April 28th, the Richmond Night Market will be open on Fridays from 7pm-12am, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 6pm-12am until October 9th. General admission is $7. Seniors and children under seven are admitted free.
