B.C.’s craft brewing industry is booming, and an event that explores what it has on offer will welcome suds lovers at a Richmond venue.
The Gulf of Georgia Cannery will be the location for the Stevenson Beer Fest, which will give beer fans lots to talk about. It will be an immersive experience, and those who want to learn more about this group of beverages and how they differ will be able to do so.
At least 100 beers will be on tap during the celebration, and they will be accompanied by food prepared by area eateries. The libations will be sourced from all over the province, and the attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy ones they might otherwise not be able to try. Tickets are $75.00 each, and the proceeds from the day will be donated to the Richmond Christmas Fund as well as other local not for profit causes.
Each ticket holder for the festival will receive as many samples of food and beer as they wish. Corporate Gifts such as tasting glasses printed with a special graphic design can be offered as swag for an activity, and they may be ordered from area Print shops.
The Stevenson beer fest will be showcasing B.C. craft beers on September 21st. It will be open at 12138 Fourth Avenue from 7:00 pm until 9:30 pm.
