An event that will give Richmond residents a chance to do a good turn for their neighbours in need will help to open the holiday season for the city, and everyone is asked to make a generous donation.
A toy drive that will see items collected for local kids will be hosted this December at the Brighouse Fire Hall. The drop off station will be open for two and half hours, and there will also be an option for anyone who would prefer to make their contribution online.
The organizers of the activity have made it simple to take part. People are being asked to choose one or more new unwrapped toys to donate, and these will be distributed through the Richmond Cures Richmond Gives (RCRG) initiative. The most current Covid prevention policies will be in place at the drive.
