Richmond residents who are considering their options when it comes to their post-secondary years may want to make a note of an upcoming evening that will give them information to can help them to narrow the field.
Representatives from more than 45 universities and colleges across the country are scheduled to attend an event that will be held in the conference centre of Delta Hotels by Marriott’s Burnaby location. It will run for over two hours, and admission is free for future students, their parents and anyone else who is interested.
Since they can find out all kinds of information all in one place, attending this type of event can be a real time saver. The attendees at the function will have a chance to meet face-to-face with college and university reps. They can gather Brochures, promotional Pens and other materials, and discuss their plans for the future to see if a particular institution offers what they are looking for. They can find out about scholarships, admission requirements and other details so that when the times comes to submit their application to the institution of their choice, they will be able to hit the ground running.
Canadian Universities Event has planned this evening for residents of Richmond, Burnaby and the surrounding communities. It will be welcoming members of the public from 6:00 pm until 8:30 pm on October 8.
