The Richmond area will soon celebrate the impending arrival of spring with an event that will showcase the talents of some of Vancouver’s top bartenders.
The city has plans in the works for Vancouver Cocktail Week, and one of the activities on the agenda is a brunch to be hosted at Botanist. This meal will show how locally sourced ingredients can be transformed into tasty beverages, and a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Downtown Eastside Neighbourhood House.
The brunch will consist of a variety of courses, and executive chef Hector Laguna will be lending his talents to the occasion. The mixologists will showcase their skills by preparing cocktails that include ingredients forged or grown in the local area, and the attendees will be able to sample their creations. General admission tickets for the experience are $157.43 each.
Vancouver Cocktail Week, presented by the Alchemist, is intended to help make the region more attractive to those looking for destination events. Printed souvenir Menus, table cards, Signs and other items for culinary events like this can all be sourced from a poster printing company.
Botanist, which is located at 1038 Canada Place in Vancouver, will be welcoming ticket holders for the Garden Club: A Botany of Brunch event on March 6th. The function will kick off at 11:30 am.
