The city of Richmond will be holding its own Oktoberfest celebration next month in Steveston.
Hosted by the Steveston Community Society, the festival is set to feature musical entertainment provided by the Rheinlander Band. Guests will also receive a dinner featuring bratwurst and other Bavarian inspired foods, one glass of beer, and dessert. There will also be raffles, a 50/50 draw, and a cash bar. In addition, guests will receive a souvenir beer stein with their paid admission. It should be a good way to celebrate this popular international festival with friends and family, while raising funds for the Steveston Playground Improvement Project.
Many communities around the world hold popular Oktoberfest events each year; the biggest ones being held in Germany, the United States and Canada.
To advertise this upcoming event in the Richmond area, organizers may have contacted local printing companies to provide products like Flyers, which can then be distributed inexpensively and quickly either through mail delivery or handed out on the street.
The Oktoberfest celebration is taking place at the Steveston Community Centre on October 3rd, beginning at 7:30pm. The ticket price is $30.
