February event planned for Richmond families

In Richmond, February is made for family fun, and this will be the case during a long weekend of activities that have been scheduled for a local park.

Nature themed fun will be the order of the day during the Family Fun Days long weekend, which will be hosted at Richmond Nature Park. With offerings for everyone from toddlers on up to senior adults, it will see members of the public climb, hike, craft and otherwise explore the great outdoors.

The organizers will have stations set up in a variety of locations throughout the park, and those who are part of the experience can explore the bog, putting their sleuthing skills to the test in a scavenger hunt, take some candid family photos and make a craft to take home.
