This June, Richmond dads and their kids of all ages are invited to enjoy a special event that has been planned in honour of Father’s Day.
The West Coast Fishing Club will offer an opportunity for fathers and their children to bond while they enjoy time together in the great outdoors. To help make the occasion even more memorable, a special guest will be joining in the fun, along with his own son.
Les Stroud, who is the star of ‘Survivorman’, will be participating in this inaugural event, and he will regale the other guests with stories of the adventures he has had on his own and with his son. A professional photographer will be on hand to capture memories of the occasion, and daily derbies and other friendly competitions are also on the agenda. The evenings will include live acoustical music for the event goers to enjoy, and the trip has been planned to take place over a three-day span. Signs and other printed materials that can help to make sure a function like this goes smoothly can be prepared by an area printer.
The club has organized the Father’s Day celebration to begin on June 17, and it will run until June 21. It will be held at its Clubhouse at 4540 Cowley Cres. in Richmond, and anyone who is interested in finding out more has been asked to contact patriciawu@westcoastfishingclub or call 1-888-432-6666.
