British Columbia brewers to attend symposium

The British Columbia craft brewing industry has recently undergone a period of expansion, and those who own a brewery or work in the industry will be delegates for an upcoming symposium.

BC Beer Con is on the agenda for the Richmond area. The two days of learning, networking and other activities will be divided into three themes that can help stakeholders in the sector move forward successfully into the future. Each day will feature a different keynote speaker, and the trade show area will have at least 50 vendors.

The theme for the conference will be finance and operations, sales and marketing, and brewing. The delegates can meet with others in the industry, sharing best practices and other tips for success. They will also be able to learn more about the BC Craft Brewers Guild and the support and services it can provide to the province’s independent breweries.

Large symposiums like this offer people a chance to learn a lot of information in a relatively small amount of time. Many organizers put together packages that include promotional Pens, Brochures, Notepads and other items that may be helpful to them both during and after such an event.

BC Beer Con will take place on Thursday, February 3rd and Friday, February 4th. It will be on offer at the Anvil Centre in New Westminster.
