Upcoming event set to offer cooking classes and more

The Eat Alberta conference will be taking place on the last Sunday of this month in Edmonton.

The theme of the event is ‘More with Less’ and guests will learn what is meant by that through several cooking classes, presentations and workshops. Guests will have the opportunity to choose two out of four different 90-minute workshops led by top chefs, including Blair Lebsack and Elyse Chatterton. Participants are asked to bring their own knives to these workshops. Topics will include bread making, vegan food and offal. In addition, there will be presentations by Sarah Louise Foster, Kevin Kossawan and Ian Griebel.

Guests will also be treated to a brunch prepared by the chefs in attendance. The event will finish off with an evening reception where drinks and appetizers will be served. It will give attendees an opportunity to network with the chefs and maybe further discuss what they learned during the day.

To help publicize events like this, Edmonton Stationery printers often provide Posters and Flyers that can be displayed in various public buildings.

Eat Albert will be held at the NAIT Hokanson Centre for Culinary Arts on April 29 from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Tickets are $150 and only for those aged 18 and over. For more information about the event, visit its website.
