Small Business Week in Edmonton features many various business events such as seminars on banking practices, technology advancements and dealing with government regulations, a mixer and trade show and a speed networking event. The speed networking event allowed small business owners the chance to display items such as a brochure or a flyer and to present door prizes featuring their business card; printing a lot of extras was recommended for those planning to take advantage of it.

Luncheons such as this one gives small business owners a chance to discover what their peers are doing and how they are making a success of their businesses. It also gives them the chance to network with their peers and to possibly gain some new business.
