For a variety of reasons, more adult children may be facing the prospect of caring for their aging parents while, at the same time, raising a family. This may not always be an easy road to travel, and the organizers of an Edmonton workshop wanted to help.
This generation, which is often termed “the Sandwich Generation”, can face pressures that are unique to their situation. The session will give tools that can be helpful to these individuals. Both parents and children are also welcome to attend.
During the workshop, there will be a discussion of the financial, emotional and other challenges that can be part of this sort of living arrangement. The group will talk about how to approach the topic of money management with both their older parents and children, and there will be an emphasis on creating a balance between being a parent and a caregiver.
One of the benefits of attending a function such as this is that it will give members of the community a chance to meet others in a similar situation. Flyers and other marketing publications can be produced for the occasion by a flyer printing professional.
Sandman Inn West Edmonton will be the venue for this event, and it will take place on February 13th. It is free to attend.Get a Free Quote for Flyers
