Edmonton workshop to craft outdoor holiday urns

Those who have always wanted to create a festive outdoor planter but are unsure of how to get started will soon be able to craft one of these pieces of holiday decor for their own front porch.

Space at the Crown and Anchor Pub in Edmonton has been booked for a workshop that will see registrants discover how easy it can be to craft a decorative planter using an assortment of natural materials. Aimed at those aged eight and over, the planters made will be suitable for outdoor use.

Each of the participants in the session will use ribbons, pinecones, berries and other elements to create an insert they will be able to put in an urn or other container. The colour scheme will be red and green, and anyone who would like to enjoy a bite to eat or a drink while they work will be able to order from the pub’s menu.

The registration fee for this hands-on event is $80 plus GST. This sort of holiday arrangement is often easy to care for, and Stationery printers will be able to prepare printed instruction sheets to hand out to the learners in this type of class so that they can keep their creation in top shape.

The date for this crafting experience is December 5th, and the venue is located at 15277 Castle Downs. Anyone who would like to take part is welcome to register now.
