Print companies in Edmonton will be interested in an upcoming workshop on Print automation. The seminar will be held in June. It is being put on by Norquest College. There will be basic and advanced sessions and the workshop will be hosted by The Centre for Excellence in Print Media.
The workshop is intended for students and printers interested in learning about optimizing productivity, streamlining production using JDF-enabled Print integration and automation. This results in a quicker turnaround time. It will be a very informative JDF workshop in collaboration with Duplo, Heidelberg, FoldFactory, Xerox and Avanti.
The seminar will cover all of the properties of Print automation. Automated digital, live and offset production will all be featured. The McCallum Printing Group will be presenting a plant tour.
Printers everywhere wish to lessen “touches”, lower costs and have better turnaround times. This seminar shows how to do just that.
Vendors that are sponsoring this event will be available to discuss their solutions, as well as answering any questions participants may have.
The cost to register is $125 (Canadian). This will be used to offset transportation costs and the costs of meals.
