Edmonton schedules fire station open houses

First responders work hard all year to keep their communities safe, and those who call Edmonton home have scheduled a series that will provide a sneak peek into their day-to-day activities.

The city is home to several fire stations, and each instalment of the Fire Station Open House series will each be held at a different one. The sessions will take place in the afternoon, and all ages are encouraged to stop by in person.

Those who take advantage of the opportunity will be able to learn more about the firefighters, the equipment they use and how they use it. They can learn about fire safety in their home and neighbourhood, as well as viewing the various types of fire trucks and other displays. There is no fee being charged for the visits.

Open house-style activities give the public a chance to learn more about the day-to-day operations of their community and its infrastructure. A brochure printing company can prepare informational materials, as well as small, themed Promotional Products, to handout to attendees at such events.

Edmonton’s Fire Station Open House dates are set from June 7th until August 30th. Each instalment will run from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Its listing on the City of Edmonton website provides details about each of the locations, as well as a map.
