An upcoming Edmonton event will give people from across the city an opportunity to share their good fortune with others.
The Generously Giving Back's 3rd Annual Charity Dinner will be an evening of dining and dancing. There will be an eight-course dinner that will be served family style, giving those who come out a chance to enjoy their meal in a friendly in comfortable setting. The lineup of live entertainment that has been planned for the evening includes the Desert Rose Dancers and Harry Knight.
In addition to the food and fun, both a 50/50 draw and a raffle will be held. The grand prize for the draw will be a weeklong stay in a vacation home in Kissimmee’s Grand Reserve. It sleeps up to 10 people, and is located close to a number of Florida attractions.
Funds raised through the event will be used to support a variety of initiatives around the world that help those in need by providing them with necessities including food, clothing, and more. A potion will also be used to provide scholarships to allow students in need to pursue their educational goals. Brochures can be distributed during functions such as this that give further information to the guests about how their contributions will help others.
