Pet photography has been rising in popularity, and the Edmonton Humane Society will be offering a class that will help beginners learn the skills they can put to use to get some great shots.
The class will be split into two parts, with the first being dedicated to learning the theories and techniques related to taking photos, such as posing, composition, choosing appropriate lighting, and how to handle the animals that will be in the picture. The second portion of the session will provide participants with an opportunity to put the knowledge they have gained into practice. They will head outside and take photos of live animals. The evening will wind up with a demonstration of a live shoot.
Everyone who takes part will receive a set of the course materials to take home with them. Comb binding can be used to creative bound Copies of any handout, diagrams or other documents that were used during workshops such as this.
The beginner pet photography class has been scheduled for Thursday, September 22. It will run from 6:30 pm until 9:30 pm at the Edmonton Humane Society at 13620-163 Street North West. The fee for the session is $80 for society staff and volunteers, and $80 for the general public.
