Edmonton pop-up aims to please pets and people

An Edmonton pop-up market will soon be opening its doors, and will have gift ideas that will help Fido, Fluffy, Polly, and other pets enjoy the holiday season.

The winter instalment of the Made for Pets market will be on offer at the Animal Care and Control Centre and Edmonton Humane Society’s EHS Canine Enrichment Centre. Many of the items that will be in the mix will be handmade, and it will be open to the public for six hours.

A roster with nearly 30 vendors will be on site, and shoppers can meet them and learn about their products and services. A fun opportunity to purchase gifts for pets and humans alike, an interactive photo booth and the distribution of Canadian maple treats are both on the agenda too. There will be items for sale for dogs, cats, birds, and small animals such as rabbits and ferrets; well behaved leashed pets may attend.

A crafter’s market can be a fun idea for a fundraiser, and they may be especially successful during the holiday season. Flyer printing and other marketing services for a function will be on offer from area printing service providers.

The Made for Pets winter market will welcome the public on November 17th. It will be open from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. The venue is located at 13620 163 Street NW.
