Those who reserve tickets for an upcoming Edmonton event will be able to enjoy an experience of the past with a drive-in movie.
The attendees at the Spook & Screen Drive-in Movie Night will be treated to a night of spooky cinema under the stars, and this will be the first drive-in theatre activity hosted at Lake Summerside. It will be a double feature, with Beetlejuice 2 and Five Nights at Freddy’s to be screened.
Admission will be on a per car basis. To help make sure everyone can get their vehicle parked, the ticket holders are asked to arrive at least 30 minutes before curtain time, and everyone is asked to let the staff know if they plan on staying for both screenings. Instead of a traditional concession stand, local food trucks will be on site, and there will be spooky costumed characters circulating for photo ops and other fun.
Drive-in nights can be a lot of fun for the audience, and often include additional activities beyond just the screening. A poster printing company can help to build public interest of such events, which can play an important in ensuring a function is a success.
The Summerside Residents Association will be showing two spooky films on October 18th at 1720 88 Street Southwest Edmonton. The first movie will start at 4:00 pm, and passes may be purchased through its Eventbrite listing.
