Edmonton market to combine art and horticulture

Edmonton’s houseplant fans will soon be treated to a day that will combine home horticulture with celebrating the city’s artistic side.

The spring instalment of the Naturecore Expo will give indoor plant fans a time to shop, learn and meet others who share their interest. This special event takes place twice each year, and in this edition, it will offer space to at least 40 vendors.

The small businesses that will be in attendance at the expo will range from plant shops to yoga studios, and handcrafters and other makers will be included as well. Fungi fans can visit the Alberta Mycological Society display, and the attendees can shop for rare and unusual plants to add to their own collection. Live entertainment, flash tattoos and several food trucks from the local community will all be included in the occasion too, and the organizers hope there will be a good turnout.

This botanical and artistic celebration will welcome shoppers for six hours. Returning events like this one may be able to make good use of the services of a banner printing company, as it can provide both single-use and reusable marketing materials.

The Naturecore Expo: Spring will get the season started with a day of fun on April 21st. Its doors will open at 11:00 am at the Rundle Family Center.
