The word has gone out that a popular Edmonton festival is set to make its return, and it will be a celebration that will showcase the joys of a plant-based lifestyle.
VegFest is on the way for residents of Edmonton and the surrounding areas this summer, and it will be held in Borden Park in Beaumont. As it is a public venue, leashed dogs are welcome, and all ages can participate.
The day will put vegan fare in the spotlight, and everyone can sample the dishes and find out for themselves how tasty this style of cookery can be. A vendor area will showcase environmentally friendly products and sellers, and the entertainment is set to be supplied by DJ Johnny Infamous. The kids can spend some time in the Veggie Kid Zone, and there will be lots of other excitement on offer as well, including a beer garden where the adults can relax and cool off.
