Spinal Cord Injury Alberta has plans in the works for a special summer celebration in Edmonton, and everyone is welcome to be part of the fun.
The organization serves in both support and advocacy roles, and one of its upcoming activities will be filled with food, friends and lots of fun. Emily Murphy Park will be the venue for the day, and its registration system is currently open.
The Edmonton Summer BBQ Celebration will see the crowd enjoying lots of freshly prepared BBQ fare, and everyone can cool off with an ice-cold beverage. Entertainment is on the agenda, and there will be opportunities for members of the public to learn about special adaptive technology, including an Action Track All Terrain Wheelchair. A photo booth, lawn games and an arts and crafts area will add even more excitement for the young and the young at heart, and a door prize draw will round out the festivities.
The planners of this community gathering are seeking both volunteers and sponsors to help make it a success. T-Shirts, lanyards and other Promotional Products for helpers at an organized event like this can be crafted by area printing services companies.
