Cats are a popular pet for both city dwellers and those who live in suburban and rural areas alike. An event that pays tribute to these furry, four-legged friends will soon be held in Edmonton, and it promises to be a “purr-fectly “ fun time for everyone who attends.
The Edmonton International Cat Fest will be taking over the “The Heart’ and ‘The Atrium’ at MacEwan University for a day filled with all things feline. It is the only event of its kind in the entire province, and all of the proceeds will be used to help fund organizations and projects that offer assistance to homeless cats.
The plans for the occasion include a full schedule of presentations about cat care, and there will also be pedigree show cats in attendance. There will be cat yoga sessions, games, play areas for the event’s feline guests, and a special celebrity feline will be on hand to meet the crowd.
As people browse through the activities and displays, they can stop by the area reserved for cats that are in need of a loving forever home. The organizers hope that they will fall in love with one of these kittens or cats and decide to make it a member of their family. Adoption information packages filled with Brochures, application Forms and other information can be prepared for distribution during this sort of function by a printing services company, which can also supply Letterheads and other marketing materials.
This day filled with furry, four legged fun will be hitting Edmonton on June 1. Admission is $15.
