An event that combines pets and plants will help those who attend to add some extra green to their home, and the proceeds will be passed along to a local companion animal rescue group.
Petals & Paws will be hosting an evening of desserts and drinks to raise funds for the Greater Edmonton Animal Rescue Society (GEARS). This group utilizes foster-based services for its charges, and as well as the other fun it will have on offer, the function will be celebrating the society’s 10th year.
The guests will be invited to participate in various activities. There will be an assortment of drinks and treats served, and they will be floral themed. Live entertainment has been planned, and the botanical marketplace will offer an opportunity to purchase succulents and other plants, as well as terrariums and flower crowns. A silent auction in the works, and one hundred percent of the proceeds will be passed along to GEARS.
