Also known as AGMs, annual general meetings take place in both the business and not for profit worlds, and a local company will be opening theirs up to members of the public.
Edmonton’s Yorkton Equity group has cordially invited anyone who would like to learn more about the company, as well as the local housing and real estate market, to attend its AGM. It will be a two-hour-long event, and its registration system is now open.
The guests at the function will be invited to make their selections from the hot luncheon buffet line, and this will also offer an opportunity for them to meet and mingle. After this, the business portion of the activity will begin. Reports will be presented, and this will be followed by a review of the local real estate market. An hour-long question and answer session is on the agenda.
AGMs hosted by businesses and not-for-profit groups give their membership and the public an opportunity to learn more about them, how they operate and how any donated funds are used. Copies of annual reports and updated bylaws are often presented during these activities, and these may be prepared by area brochure printing companies.
The 2023 Yorkton Equity Group has scheduled its AGM for June 16th at Dynasty Century Palace Restaurant. The buffet line will open at 12:00 pm.
