The third annual Edmonton Latin Festival will take place at Sir Winston Churchill Square on August 18 to 19 from 12:00 pm - 11:00 pm each day. This is a free, family-friendly event.
There will be many activities to take part in during the festival, including sampling Latin-inspired food, listening to Latin music, and viewing a Latin Dance Showcase. In addition, organizers will hopefully be holding the world's largest zumba class. They hope to get into the Guinness Book of World Records by breaking the previous record of 3,869 dancers.
The festival will also feature several vendors selling food, products, and art, with several community organizations from the Edmonton area also setting up information booths. Vendors would be wise to avail themselves of the services of local printing companies to prepare for the event. Banner printing services will allow vendors to dress up their booth and make it more attractive to passers-by by posting a colorful banner. Artisans who are displaying their works for the first time might arrange for business card printing services to help market their artworks. Including a business card with each item sold would allow the purchaser to pass on their name to their friends and family, which would most likely result in more business.
There is a large Latin population in Edmonton and events such as the Latin Festival help to showcase everything the culture has to offer. It will be an excellent opportunity for those who know little about this facet of Edmonton to experience it for themselves.
