Kids in Edmonton who identify as trans or gender creative will be able to make new friends this winter at a camp planned especially for them.
Camp Dragonfly is now accepting registrations for its Winter 2021 session, and it promises to be three days the campers will fondly remember. It is aimed at kids who are aged 6 to 13, and siblings and friends are also welcome to attend.
The agenda for the camp includes crafts, games and both indoor and outdoor activities. The registration fee is $125.00, and a sliding scale payment rate may be available. The organizers explained that they will also host a supporters workshop and community dinner on the last day of the camp, and childcare will be available for anyone who needs it during the afternoon session, which will begin at 4:00pm.
