The food rescue movement helps to make sure no one goes hungry, and an upcoming Edmonton activity will both highlight its importance and raise funds for the Leftovers Foundation.
The organization, which helps to connect surplus food with those in need, has planned its FUN-raiser, which will be on offer at CRAFT Beer Market. It will be a casual affair, and the planners hope it will bring the community together,
Each person who reserves a ticket will be invited to fill their plate at the buffet line, and they will also be given a ticket they can redeem for the drink of their choice. A silent auction is in the works, and everyone can try their luck in the even split draw. Additional drink tickets will be made available, and while they enjoy themselves, the crowd will be able to learn more about the Leftovers Foundation and how it serves the community.
The organizers of the celebration have explained that they greatly appreciate the support of the event’s sponsors. The Logo Design of each of these companies has been added to the activity’s Trellis listing.
The 2023 Food Rescue Fundraiser will treat Edmonton to an evening of fun on November 8th. It will begin at 6:00 pm at 10013 101A Avenue, and tickets for the affair may be purchased on Trellis.
