Camrose fans of legendary pop-rockers Fleetwood Mac may wish to make plans now to attend a concert that will play tribute to them, and has been scheduled to take place in the city this coming winter.
The Bailey Theatre will host the event, which is one stop on Mac Daddy’s 40th Anniversary Rumours tour. It is named for the original musical group’s ‘Rumours’ album, which was released 40 years ago in 1977. According to the tour’s website, this tribute band will perform many of the songs which drove Fleetwood Mac’s popularity and influenced other musicians. It will play songs from the 1970s and 80s, some very early pieces and even ones it has never performed in public before.
Tickets for the concert have been priced at $25 each, and they can be purchased by phone or in person at the venue’s box office. A 10% discount is being offered to those who buy six or more tickets at one time.
The date for the Mac Daddy-Rumors concert will be February 4. It will begin at 7:30 pm at The Baily Theatre, which is located at 5041 50th Street in Camrose.
