Camrose to craft creative escape

Camrose will be beating the winter blahs this January when it welcomes an area artist for a creative session working with resin.

Stephanie Lane will be sharing her expertise when it comes to resin during the Resin Ocean Painting Workshop scheduled for the Chuck MacLean Arts Centre. It will be a hands-on class, and each project will incorporate natural elements.

The participants in the immersive session will prepare a 9 by 12 ocean painting, and various techniques for doing so will be taught. They will learn how to create realistic waves, as well as a sandy shoreline, and everyone can mix their desired custom ocean colour. A “shell buffet” will be set up where the painters can choose small stones and shells to use in their piece, and they may bring some from home as well if they wish. The activity is intended to be a relaxing event.

The organizers of classes and workshops may require Letterheads, waivers and other specialized business Forms. Stationery printers will be happy to help, and can accommodate a wide variety of budget levels.

The Resin Ocean Painting Workshop will provide an evening of creativity and connection starting at 6:00 pm on Friday, January 23rd. It is set to wrap up at 9:00 pm, and the venue is located at 4809 52 Street in Camrose.
