Camrose university hosts showcase

This spring, visitors will be able to see what happens at one of Canada's top university campuses.

The University of Alberta, Augustana Campus, was merged into the larger Edmonton-based University in 2004. It hosts a diverse post-secondary community and will open its doors to alumni, donors, potential students, and the Camrose community this April.

The 2025 Augustana Showcase is designed to bring together the Camrose community to see the work occurring at the University of Augustana. The showcase is planned similarly to a choose-your-own-adventure, allowing attendees to explore the research facility, listen to the choir concert, experience the athletics department on top of a variety of science demos and more. Learn more about the different activities at the University of Augustana and the research students are working on. Alumni who attend can also reconnect at the event and connect with others interested in their area of study. With a wide range of activities planned throughout the day, attendees can spend as much or as little time as they would like at each station to make the most of their day on campus.

Often, during showcase tours, event hosts will invest in methods like poster printing to help bring the event to life. Depending on how the Posters are designed, they can act as Signs throughout the event or as supporting materials for the demonstration.

The 2025 Augustana Showcase will occur on April 16th, 2025, at the Camrose campus, located at Founders' Hall, 4901 46 Ave, Camrose. Additional information can be found on the University's website.
